The Philippine Army Commissioned Officers Club Inc. was organized on February 1997 under the former Commanding General of the Philippine Army, Lt. Gen. Clemente Mariano, AFP.
It was then that the Board of Trustees was formed composed of General and Special Staffs of the Phil. Army. The PACOCI was organized to administer its major facilities which are the Kagitingan Executive Golf Club and La Bodega Restaurant under its management and supervision. The objective of which is to maintain its recreational activities that will benefit active personnel and other retired persons and its dependent.
The PACOCI which is managing the operation of La Bodega Restaurant and Golf Club terminate the 75% of the employees due to union intervention within the 5% of employees on October 30, 2002.
Moreover, the former employees of La Bodega Restaurant operated by then the PACOCI have organized themselves into duly registered with the Cooperative Development Authority on December 23, 2003.
Further, the Commanding General of the Philippine Army granted the MMPC to operate a restaurant and catering services at the former La Bodega Restaurant located at the Old PAFCFIC Building, Fort Bonifacio. In the same token of assistance, the Philippine Army gave the opportunity that they are one of the 4 caterers to use the Philippine Army Officers Clubhouse.
With this, the MMPC composed of officers, Board of Directors and forty one active members is now generating its cooperative that will benefit financial needs of their facilities under the supervision of HPA.
